Chuir Rang a hAon tús le Seachtain na Gaeilge 2019 trí drámaí beaga a dhéanamh, ar dtús thugamar cuairt ar an dochtúir mar bhí muid tinn! First Class started Seachtain na Gaeilge off with some short dramas starting with a trip to the doctor!

Our class had an exciting visit to Toodlelou today where we learned all about living things and their habitats. We designed a habitat and used clay to make our living things. We also completed an experiment involving the concept of sinking and floating. We designed an oxygen tank for our Lego men and tested whether the Lego man would float in the water with his oxygen tank. It was a great day and so much fun. Thank you Lindsay for such an exciting workshop. 😀
1st class recently met Ms. Ní Chárthaigh's teddy who was in need of some new wellies. We experimented with a number of materials to see which ones were waterproof and would make good wellies - first we predicted the good and bad materials and then we dropped coloured water onto them to see. Some were absorbant and would not make good wellies and others were water resistant and would make excellent wellies for teddy! We had great fun investigating!

2nd Class had a fantastic day out in Toodleou today. We had a great time making habitats and clay animals and did a cool science experiment about air pressure. Thanks so much to Lindsay for a great time.
Ms Boyle has been busy with some of the boys making a wormery. They gave an excellent presentation to the class about their project. Well done!
