Science investigation

We investigated how much sugar is in food. We collected samples of food, predicted which had most sugar. Then we worked together in groups to weigh out the amount of sugar per 100g in each food. We displayed our findings on posters. It was a really interesting activity.

We enjoyed a trip to the shore in Oranmore beside the castle. it is so interesting exploring our natural shoreline.
We have been learning all about Mé Féin in Gaeilge, using our whiteboards to brainstorm everything we know.
SESE Projects

As part of our SESE lessons this month, we were learning about Urban and Rural areas. The boys sketched their own Urban area and transformed their ideas into a 3D creation. They worked so well together and learned a lot in the process.
Chess fun

Fifth class have been learning to play chess recently. A special thanks to Ms Cormican for teaching the boys each week. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill and the boys are thoroughly enjoying it.
Rugby Blitz

21 September 2023
5th classes were delighted to attend the Corinthians for a Tag Rugby Blitz recently. It was a lovely opportunity to try out Tag Rugby and play against other schools. Lots of fun was had!
