The boys in fifth class dressed up in their Halloween costumes today.
In 5th class, we thoroughly enjoyed dressing up and learning all about Halloween. We created Jack O' Lanterns and Haunted houses during Art, as well as learning about the different customs and traditions of Halloween in different parts of the world. Congratulations to Matthew, who received 1st prize in the senior years for his fabulous costume.
During Space Week we completed projects on the planets using Google Slides on our Chromebooks. We created Space Art using paint and we also designed 3D rockets. Some interesting facts that I learnt about space include that Mercury is the smallest planet and it is shrinking in size. One of Venus' craters is the same size as Western Europe. By James J.
The boys have had a great first half term settling in with team building LEGO projects and working hard online making presentations on space, summarising their SESE learning into slides, and competing in lots of quizzes. Here is a selection of photos with lots more to come!
