Before Christmas we had great fun researching and learning about the trees in our locality and local woods. The boys produced excellent projects at home. They did a great job presenting the projects to the class.

African Dancing

We have been learning about and experimenting with traditional dance from some African countries competing in the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament. Some excellent dance moves on show this week!

Winter Art

The boys in 1st and 2nd class have really enjoyed being back after a well-earned Christmas break. We have been working hard in all areas at school and we are very proud of our colorful winter art. Looking forward to all of our new experiences and activities during the new term. Slán tamaill.

Tin Whistle

1st class enjoyed playing Hot Cross Buns on the tin whistle today.

The Colour Wheel

This week sixth class are learning about primary, secondary and tertiary colours. We did this through mixing the three primary colours to create colour wheel eyes.

Science experiment: Is there iron in your cereal?

Last term, 6th class investigated iron in cereal with magnets. The experiment was fun and the class were surprised to see the results!
