More projects....

A huge amount of work was put into these projects. The boys researched and presented these projects to the class. Their knowledge was vast and we all learned a lot from the projects! Well done to the boys for all their effort and a thank you to you parents who also helped the boys.
First class recently completed a project called "The History of Me". They carried out research on the iPads to find out what happened the day they were born and they worked with their parents to learn about the history of their names and to create a timeline of their lives. They put all this information together on a beautiful poster presentation - well done boys!
First class had great fun celebrating Easter from making Easter baskets and using them for a game of "hunt the bunny", to making chocolate nests for Easter cupcakes, to potato printing some Easter chicks. The break was well deserved after that!

May is the month when we think of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Fifth class have been working on beautiful art work.
We had great fun making 3-D shapes from lollipop sticks and playdough. We made cubes, cuboids, pyramids and prisms. We even attempted cylinders but they unfortunately didn't work out. We now know all about vertices, sides and faces.
