Science week was so much fun. We really enjoyed learning all about electric cars. We did some experiments in class. We made our own lava lamp, with the help of come boys from 4th class. We also made slime. It was very interesting to see the slime change over time. After learning about rockets and going to space we made our own paper rockets.

We had a lovely walk to Bluebell Woods in the Autumn sunshine. We explored the different signs of Autumn we could see. We also collect some different leaves. We brought these back to the classroom and made some very creative leaf rubbings. We had great fun and are already excited for our next trip to the woods.
Science Week!

21 November 2023
We used the theme of 'The Human Body' to complete different experiments during Science Week. We made models of teeth and investigated the effects of tooth decay using a range of foods. As well as this, we learned how DNA was discovered and made models of the double helix structure, which was discovered in the 1950s. The boys also completed wonderful projects in groups and studied topics such as 'Famous Scientists' and 'The Solar System'. Finally, we had a demonstration of a self driving car, which was very exciting.
