Bhain na paistí taithneamh as cluichí Gaeilge. Bhí spóirt agus spraoí ann. Maith sibh buachaillí!

5th class were delighted to welcome Aine from the Rediscovery Centre, to our class today. She delivered a very interactive and engaging workshop on the use of plastic in our everyday lives. The boys worked in groups to discover the different types of plastic and the process involved in making plastic. The boys discussed the properties of different types of plastic and worked together to create a poster with a message/image of how we can reduce, reuse and recycle!
5th class have been busy working on a project of their choice, focusing on the non fiction genre. We worked on the Chromebooks in the classroom and the boys continued this amazing work at home, as part of homework. They followed their rubric to assess their projects and gave great feedback and advice to one another. It has been a lovely experience presenting our projects to the class and the boys are very proud of themselves and their wonderful projects.
