We had a lovely visitor today who was very kind to give us all a selection box.

4th class and 3rd / 4th class had the opportunity to go to the library during children's book festival. There we engaged in a singing workshop with Helen Hancock, a soprano singer. We really enjoyed singing in rounds, conducting and performing. Thank you to Oranmore library for inviting us down. It was a lovely experience.
A day to remember! Damien Browne made history today being the 1st person to row from NYC to Galway and solo too. It took 112 days. What a man!! 💪💪 4th class were delighted to be at his homecoming today in Galway docks. It was amazing and we will remember this day. We finished it off with a playground trip.
4th class had a lovely tasty treat today. Many of the boys in our class grow their own fruit & vegetables. Today they harvested some delicious carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, apples & chilli peppers! They tasted so good. We didn't brave the chilli peppers!

We used various colours of wool to create little woolen hats for ourselves. 😁
We were delighted to receive refurbished laptop off Fidelity Investments. The boys in 4th class were working hard typing up their recounts on their Damien Browne story. They were editing and refining their stories themselves for their final draft.
