Anti-Bullying Week / Friendship Week

A busy week, anti - bullying assemblies every day. Random acts of kindness and Valentine's Day thrown into the mix. We made friendship bracelets from wool which the boys decided to give to their Valentine or to their friends. 馃グ馃グ

We had a lovely day in Thursday, Grandparents Day. Many grandparents came into shared their wealth of knowledge with us.

Understanding Homelessness.

We listened to the song 'Streets of London' and visualised images from the song. We had a class discussion on homeless people and and who it affects, from single men and women down on their luck, to families having to live in hotels. Realising it could happen to anybody. It is such a strong song with a lovely tune.
