We went on a Maths Trail today looking for shapes and symmetry. We estimated and counted a lot too.

Mini Medics

The Mini Medics course is a child friendly introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 11, but it can suit children of any age. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies. The course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical, and instill the importance of helping someone who is poorly injured. The things that Mini Medics cover are What is First Aid? Defibrillation First Aid kits Recovery position Choking Resuscitation (CPR) DR ABC Wounds and bleeding Asthma Shock Safety Communication and contacting the emergency services

Sports Day fun

It is Active School Week and we are having so much fun. Sports Day today was rounded off with an ice cream treat.

Walking Tour of Oranmore

Loads of sightseeing on our walk. We enjoyed our trip to see the swans, Oranmore castle, and the community garden. We even spotted a fairy door on our travels. We rounded off the day by painting abour our walking trip. We went home with a few treats too!

Walking Tour of Oranmore

The boys had a wonderful time on their walking tour of Oranmore. Before they left they learned lots about the life-cycle of the Swan. They saw beautiful wild flowers along the way and were lucky enough to see the Swans and the cygnets.

Painting the Rainforest

Have a look at our super art work. We were experimenting with tone and colour by using a redipping method of painting. We created amazing colourful painting of a rainforest scene. It was great fun!
