We were very lucky to have a wonderful learning experience in the ARC today. We explored Aquaculture; Geographic and Environmental influences; Socio-economic factors; Nutritional Health and finished off with the big ARC Quiz. Lots of fun and learning in the ARC today!

Trip to Traught Beach!

21 March 2023

Both 5th classes enjoyed a trip to Traught beach in Kinvara this morning. We are exploring the theme of connecting and caring for our environment in school and a beach trip was a perfect way to support our learning. We were very lucky with the weather and the rain held off until just as we were about to return to Oranmore. The boys identified the different creatures and sea life on the beach, observed a variety of rocks and shells and even dipped their toes into the water. Lots of learning and fun was had today!
